Author dani2xll n96 Black today replaces my n85. My main complaint was the n85's display screen being viewable and its incapability of taking a viewable image during direct sunlight. I very rarely take photographs but i am intensely annoyed that when i do decide to take a particular image that i am, one) unable to focus properly because i can not see the image that i am taking a photograph of, and two) unable to show that image to anyone immediately because of the non-viewable screen in direct sunlight. My purpose today was to get an n82 Black but everywhere i went was out of stock with no further stock incoming and my only other alternative was ebay where i do not feel comfortable spending huge amounts of money. As luck would have it the newest firmware for the n96 was released yesterday so i had an alternative to the n82 Black to choose from. I had trialled the n96 prior in October last year and was very unhappy with its abilities and speed. My hope now is that i can be patient enough to last through until the beginning of next year to middle of next year before upgrading to one of the new symbian^2 handsets.
