The Sony Ericsson Jalou comprises a jewel-inspired design with all eyes awaiting the Dolce&Gabbana limited edition which is said to be released just around the corner.

At just 73mm tall when closed, the Jalou is a petite clamshell and weighs in at 84 grams ideally handbag-friendly. The mirror finish of the internal display doubles as a mirror. Colour availability will be gem colours of Deep Amethyst, Onyx Black and Aquamarine Blue. The Jalou comprises a web browser and YouTube Applications along with the search application Google. Video call is also incorporated alongside SMS, instant messaging and email.

The fashion credible Dolce&Gabbana edition will be equiped with the Jalou regular features but with the addition of the Sparkling Rose colour scheme and 24 carat gold plating making the Dolce&Gabbana version exclusive. The 2010 Autumn/Winter show including backstage footage, photos and videos will be pre-loaded. Additionally there will be individual themes and wallpapers. Not to be shot-down at first glance as a fashion accessory alone, the Dolce&Gabbana Jalou arrives with an RSS feed dedicated to a special blog keeping you instantly updated on the latest news, gossip and trends. The Dolce&Gabbana Jalou will be part of an ad campaign with Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce themselves. The campaign starts in October to promote the Jalou. No word on pricing is realeased to-date.
