Sony's popular e-reader the PRS-505 is being replaced by two new models.
The PRS-505 became very popular as an e-reader at entry-level.
The Reader Pocket Edition will come equipped with 512mb of storage (apprx 350 e-books), 5-inch screen and a pocketable size of 107x157x10mm, weight 200g.
The Reader Touch Edition will be slightly larger at 6-inch, with a touchscreen, a combination of both MS DUO and SD cards and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Sony recently ditched the unpopular DRM. However, Sony remains obstinate about not offering 3g support connectivity in the UK despite its recently launched 3g Reader Daily Edition in the US. The Touch will retail at £250 with the Pocket Edition retail price at £180.
