A high school teacher has proved innovative in taking the mobile phone 'in to' the classroom as opposed to the usual ban of no mobiles in school. Follow the break to view the video.
Katie Titler, used the aid of mobile technology to aid her students to learn a foreign language. Part of Titler's teaching methods is for students to respond via their mobile phones to a Spanish question. Students texts are received directly on a screen for review. Titler said, "Since I first implemented the use of cell phones in my classroom, I am in awe of the many amazing changes that have taken place. This technique is more engaging and allows for better and more frequent feedback to students on their speaking skills than most traditional ways."
