The hardware buttons and background homescreen reveal even more.  The search key give the addition of voice commands and the browser long press on the back key opens your bookmarks, visited pages and browsing history in a tabbed section.

 Apples iMessage Creates Turmoil for Networks

Networks are in turmoil with the onset of Apple’s new iMessage initiative. iMessage takes away revenue from the networks by using Apple’s own protocols to send and receive messages without charge from one iPhone/iPad/ or iPod iTouch user to another. With such innovation, networks have been scurrying around in a spin to find other ways to hold on to the revenue that will be lost once iMessage is released to the public.  Vodafone is the first of the networks to bring in tariff changes.  Vodafone is the biggest network in the UK so do not be lulled into a false sense of security that the other networks will not follow suite at a later time.  Read more on the story here.

Following Apple’s WWDC11 Conference the new iOS5 was revealed. The final product is due in the fall but today we take a look at the product available for developers.
