The family is decamping from the shadowy figure of Nokia. The children have all moved to the little house surrounded by BlackBerry’s. And several of the mothers have been enjoying their fruity Apple desserts. The fathers have held on for quite some time before having their house blown down around them and have now decamped to the all-encompassing umbrella of HTC’s brick house. I will be interviewing a few of these parties in the next several days to see what they find fresh and inspiring about the competition.

I am of the opinion that Nokia will make a comeback but I am unsure if this is just my sentimentality kicking-in after my 8 year history with Nokia Smartphones or whether it is truly my hearts belief. I hope that whatever the reason, that Nokia can re-incarnate itself and once again becomes the leader that others follow behind. Nokia and Microsoft Windows have a battle to overcome not only within the industry but within the consumer mind. I wish them both good luck.
