Living the life of a celebrity has some benefits but alongside those benefits there is a downside. Everyone wants to get up close and personal with you and those wanting to have a deeper hold in your life will go to the extent of hacking into your private phone.
A new revolutionary software is being created by a British firm with computer security knowledge to combat phone hacking. The firm – called Lolla (lolla.org.uk) offers a personal service to the celebrity who feels targeted. Lolla repels hacks to mobile phones. The patent for the software has been applied for by the brainchild of Lolla, Carlos Bevilacque and Thomas Farrington.
‘The new software allows us to repel hacks to mobile phones, as well as encrypt voice and text between protected devices,’ explained a spokesman for Lolla.
‘The systems we have put in place mean that someone trying to hack a phone – or illegally retrieve messages and data from it – can very easily be locked out.
‘The new software is so sophisticated that it can identify devices by a unique and evolving fingerprint, and only allow access from authorised machines and equipment.
