I am both an iPhone and iPad user.  I abhor using applications made for the iPhone on the iPad via the 2x zoom option. It is just horrid, blurred and well, just nasty. I have about two very rarely used applications from the iPhone installed on the iPad because the developers do not have or cannot be bothered with creating a dedication version for the iPad.

Facebook is one company that has been dragging its heels in creating an app for the iPad.  Needless to say we have had the original iPad which is now over a year old and we are already several months into the release of the iPad 2 and we are still waiting for Facebook for iPad. However, the waiting is nearly over with a leaked expose showing that Facebook for iPad is built into the latest iPhone version but hidden from view.  A hack allows this to be revealed and used but this option has since been blocked. But, the fact that it exists is enough for me to breathe a sigh of relief that Facebook for iPad is finally coming and nearly here!
