So… the Birthday came and went, during which I decided this was a good time to start a new project. That project – a move from wordpress.com to wordpress.org
However… little did I know that the devil of yester-year Typepad.com would revisit to haunt me. Refresh your memory if you could possibly have forgotten. [Removing the Clutches of Tyepad.com]
The legacy of Typepad lived on in wordpress.com and caused all manner of upsets, debacles, errors, shut-downs, loss of media and I could fill this page with the ‘trial and errors’ that it has put me through. But…
A good friend came to the rescue, took my website in hand and worked his magic (thank you so much for your help). Now…
The new site is up and running and with it comes a change of theme. I am only now hearing from folks that my previous site was dowdy, dusty, old-looking and boring. It is always nice to get feedback though it is better during rather than after the effects
So… we have a new site, a fresh look and well… not so much new content as I am still driven by my lust for gadgets, so expect to keep seeing that here and it is always nice to give a little love back by letting people have a bit of insight into what other things interest me, that might interest you. So…
Do expect to see something non-gadgetry from time to time.
I would love to hear your views on the new theme and what other content you think you would like to see here and I will see if I can accommodate it.
Thank you for reading my article.
Dani
(ps. I cannot get back the 4 years of media that typepad.com has consumed so, if you go back far enough into the archives and find media missing, that is the reason why. The articles do make interesting reading, hence why I keep them)
