27 August 2011 – Nürburg, Germany, The VLN championship, Veranstaltergemeinschaft Langstreckenpokal Nürburgring (Association of Nürburgring Endurance Cup Organisers) race throughout the year at the famous Nurburgring – ‘the most beautiful and most demanding race track in the world. Each VLN race is held as a ‘one day event’.
If Nurburgring sounds familiar it is because it forms part of the F1 (Formula One) Grand Prix championships with three events, the German Grand Prix, the European Grand Prix and the Luxembourg Grand Prix. Construction on the Nurburgring started in 1925 with completion and its first race event held in 1927.
Team Peugeot RCZ Nokia were proud participants in the 24 Hours Nürburgring race last month. The team won 1st place in the D1T (Diesel category) and came in 54th overall (out of 200 cars). The following is a video which highlights the race.
The VLN has a Nokia entry this year under Team Peugeot RCZ Nokia. The competition has almost 200 cars enrolled in the race.
I will be attending the VLN to watch TEAMPEUGEOT RCZ NOKIA in action with an opportunity to meet some of the pilots. The race is to held on 27 August 2011 and we look forward to your support.
