I enjoy using my iPad 2, but due to the limitations of the onscreen virtual keyboard and being an ‘old school’ typist trained on a real physical keyboard it can become somewhat of a constraint when undertaking heavy duty work.
In this capacity manufacturers have developed cases which not only carry the iPad / iPad 2 but also incorporate a full qwerty keyboards.

First of all do not be overly alarmed by the outrageous colour as the Case Mate Venture Case for the iPad 2 is also available in black, grey and purple. The case is designed with high and low colour contrast to compliment one another as you see here in the pink version. It is one of the most study and well-built cases that I have come across.
